The AMI “Switch to a direct debit and receive a $50 Prezzy® Card” (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010 (“AMI”).

By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion period begins on the 6th June 2025 and ends 31st May 2026. (“Promotion Period”).
The Promotion is open to existing AMI customers who:
Are 18 years or older as of the start of the Promotion Period;
Are residents of New Zealand;
Receive the promotional communication from AMI between 6th June 2025 and 2nd March 2026; and
Who set up a direct debit or recurring payment with AMI on an Eligible Policy during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Customer”).
To enter the Promotion, Eligible Customers must set up a new Direct Debit or Recurring Payment with AMI on an Eligible Policy where:
“Direct Debit” is where an Eligible Customer gives AMI authority to debit fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annual recurring instalments from that customer’s bank account;
“Recurring Payment” is where an Eligible Customer gives AMI authority to debit fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annual recurring instalments from that customer’s debit or credit card;
“Eligible Policy” is
either an AMI home, contents, landlord or motor vehicle policy within the Promotion Period; and
that does not have an existing Direct Debit or Recurring Payment set up; and
must renew and/or remain active at the time the Reward is sent to the customer.
AMI is offering each Eligible Customer a $50 Prezzy® Card (“Reward”) for every Eligible Policy to a maximum of three Rewards per Eligible Customer.
The Reward will be sent to the Eligible Customer within 7 weeks of the Eligible Customer setting up the relevant Direct Debit or Recurring Payment. The Reward will be sent digitally via email to the email address on file for the Eligible Customer. If AMI is unable to reach the Eligible Customer via the recorded email address, we will attempt to send the Reward by another means including by post to the Eligible Customer’s recorded postal address.

AMI will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Reward, or if the Reward is lost or goes missing, after the Reward has been dispatched for delivery and is the sole responsibility of the Eligible Customer.
The Reward is not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Reward must be taken as stated in these terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Reward.
AMI will not be required to provide any person with a Reward where, in AMI’s sole discretion, that person is not (or is no longer) eligible.
AMI reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend this Promotion at any time without notice to any person, for any reason. AMI will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.
AMI’s decision on any matter regarding this Promotion will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Subject to any obligations under law, such as under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act, AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any reward. AMI will not be responsible for any lost or stolen reward.
AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion unless that fault is caused by AMI.
AMI may use and disclose entrants’ personal information to AMI’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes, including sending marketing communications to the entrant. Entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting AMI in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 100 200.
Entrants agree that AMI is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for AMI external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
