AMI Partner Employee Cashback Offer

Terms and Conditions

  1. The AMI Partner Enhanced Employee Cashback Offer (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“IAG”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010.

  2. Information on eligibility criteria, distribution and use of data form part of these terms and conditions.

  3. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  4. The Promotion commences on 1 November 2025 and ends at 11.59pm Wednesday 30 September 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

 

Eligibility.

  1. This Promotion is open to existing employees of an IAG Partner, as determined by AMI, who are residents of New Zealand and are 18 years of age or over as at the date of their entry into the Promotion (“Eligible Participants”).

 

Reward.

  1. AMI is offering each Eligible Participant:

    1. One (1) $150 Prezzy® Card for each qualifying AMI Home or Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy purchased or renewed during the Promotion Period;

    2. One (1) $100 Prezzy® Card for each qualifying AMI Contents Insurance Policy purchased or renewed during the Promotion Period; and

    3. A 30% discount on AMI Travel Insurance purchased after the purchase or renewal of a qualifying AMI Comprehensive Car, Home or Contents Insurance policy where:

      1. discounts apply to the total premium paid, inclusive of any add-on or variations to cover and taxes; and

      2. the AMI Travel Insurance discount is not available with any other AMI Travel Insurance offer.

    (each a “Reward”).

  2. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Participants must during the Promotion Period purchase a new or renew an existing AMI Home, Contents, or Comprehensive Car Insurance policy or policies (“Qualifying Policy”) by either:

    1. Submitting a request via the dedicated IAG Partner URL to receive a call back by an AMI consultant, or

    2. Call the dedicated AMI Specialist Care Team on the 0800 number as advised by AMI;

    3. Provide any Employee validation information requested by AMI at the time of entry into the Promotion.

  3. For Eligible Participants that are existing AMI customers and renew a Qualifying Policy during the Promotion Period, to enter the Promotion you must contact us as described in 7(a) or (b) and provide information described in (c) above at least 15 days prior but no later than the renewal date of your Qualifying Policy.

  4. To receive a Reward Eligible Participants must:

    1. Purchase a new or renew an existing Qualifying Policy during the Promotion Period;

    2. Have paid, and AMI has received, the first payment of the premium for the Qualifying Policy; and the participant’s 15-day cooling off period must have been completed.

  5. For the avoidance of doubt:

    1. This Promotion offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount offered by IAG;

    2. Qualifying Policy will not be current where they: (a) have been cancelled; (b) become void; or (c) where AMI has received notice to cancel the relevant policy/ies;

    3. The following policy types do not qualify as a Qualifying Policy: Third Party Car, Third Party Fire & Theft Car, Motorhome, Commercial Vehicle, House Construction, Landlord, Travel, Business, Motorcycle, Boat (including jet skis), Caravan & Trailer and Lifestyle Block;

    4. Amending, upgrading, downgrading, adjusting or reinstating an existing policy, and replacements (cancelling an existing policy and then repurchasing a policy for the same asset within 3 months of cancellation), do not qualify for this Promotion (as determined at AMI’s sole discretion); and

    5. If the participant takes out multiple policies, each Qualifying Policy will be eligible for the Reward.

  6. Subject to Clauses 9 and 10 above, Prezzy® Cards will be sent electronically to the Eligible Participant’s email within 30 days of the policy start date of the Qualifying Policy (or such later date as is required by AMI). For the avoidance of doubt, AMI will not be obliged to send any Reward to any person where the conditions set out in these terms and conditions have not been met.

  8. Discounts on AMI Travel Insurance will be provided via a promo code provided to the Eligible Participant upon entry into the Promotion.

  9. AMI will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Reward, or if the Reward is lost or goes missing, after the Reward has been dispatched for delivery and is the sole responsibility of the Eligible Participant.

  10. The Reward is not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Reward must be taken as stated in these terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if the Eligible Participant is unable to use the Reward.

  11. Any delays in stock or availability of Rewards are not the responsibility of AMI.

  12. AMI will not be required to provide any person with a Reward where, in AMI’s sole discretion, that person is not (or is no longer) eligible.

 

General.

  1. The Promotion is not an offer of insurance and availability of insurance cover is subject to AMI approval, including meeting our underwriting criteria. AMI insurance policy terms, conditions, and exclusions apply.

  2. AMI, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend the Promotion at any time. AMI will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.

  3. AMI’s decision on any matter regarding the Promotion will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  4. Subject to any obligations under law, such as under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Reward. AMI will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Reward.

  5. AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late purchase or payment of any Qualifying Policy, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of the Promotion, unless that fault is caused by AMI.

 

Privacy.

  1. Each participant accepts and agrees that AMI may use and disclose the participant’s personal information to AMI’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting the Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting AMI in writing at NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010 or by calling 0800 100 200.
