AMI Survey Promotion

Terms and Conditions

  1. This AMI Survey Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI Insurance (“AMI”) of NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe St, Auckland 1010.
  2. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over and who are policyholders of AMI. Employees of IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
  4. This Promotion commences on 15 December 2018 and will continue until ended by AMI in its sole discretion (“Promotion Period”).
  5. To enter the Promotion, an entrant must be an AMI customer during the Promotion Period, be a participant of the IAG Your Voice community website ( (“Your Voice Website”), and have been invited to, and have completed, a survey before midnight on the specified survey closing date (“Eligible Customer”).
  6. Each Eligible Customer will receive one entry into the applicable monthly Prize Draw per survey. Limit one entry per Eligible Customer per survey.
  7. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt of transmission into the Your Voice Website, not the time of transmission by the entrant.
  8. The monthly draw will take place on the fifth business day of every month (“Prize Draw”). The first three valid entries drawn each month will each receive a Prize. There is a limit of one Prize per Eligible Customer per calendar month.
  9. Each monthly prize is one $500 Prezzy® card (“Prize”). Each month AMI is giving away three Prizes.
  10. The winners will be notified by email from the IAG Your Voice team by no later than five (5) working days after the Prize Draw (or such other date as required by AMI).
  11. If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts have been made by AMI within 14 days of the date of the Prize Draw, AMI may re-draw the Prize from all remaining eligible entries.
  12. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. AMI’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. Prezzy® cards are issued by Kiwibank Limited subject to Prezzy® card Terms and Conditions and can be found at The winners of the Prizes will be required to comply with the Prezzy® card Terms and Conditions.
  14. In the event that any Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond AMI’s control, AMI may substitute a prize of equal of greater value.
  15. The Prize will be couriered to the Prize winners within seven (7) working days after notification of their win. AMI will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Prize, or if the Prize is lost or goes missing, after the Prize is dispatched for delivery to the Prize winner.
  16. The winner agrees that AMI is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for AMI external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
  17. AMI reserves the right to terminate or amend any aspect of this Promotion without notice at any time.
  18. AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize.
  19. AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion or the Prize Draw.
  20. Information collected from all entries will be securely held by AMI at its offices at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland. AMI may contact any or all entrants using the contact details provided in their entries for the purpose of the Promotion generally and for marketing and promotional purposes. AMI may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents in the course of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. All entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting All entries become the property of AMI and will be destroyed by AMI following the conclusion of this Promotion.
