AMI welcome gift promotion

Terms and Conditions

  1. This AMI welcome gift promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI Insurance Limited NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand (“AMI”).
  2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. This Promotion is a strictly exclusive Promotion offered only to persons living at an address specified on a direct mail letter offering this Promotion from AMI, delivered in or about August 2015 (“Direct Mail”).
  4. Persons who are ineligible to participate in the Promotion include:
    1. Persons who do not live at an address specified on the Direct Mail; and
    2. Employees of AMI and IAG New Zealand Limited and their immediate families.
  5. This Promotion commences on 12 August 2015 and ends on 14 October 2015 (“Promotion Period”)
  6. To qualify for this Promotion (a “Qualifying Person”) you must:
    1. purchase a minimum of two (2) new AMI house, contents or comprehensive car policies in your name and with the policy address (either the postal or risk insured address on the policies) being the address specified on the Direct Mail (“Qualifying Policies”) during the Promotion Period;
    2. go online to ami.co.nz/welcomegift, enter the unique code printed in the Direct Mail, and complete all required information on the entry website;
    3. make the first payment due on each Qualifying Policy; and
    4. have a minimum of two (2) Qualifying Policies current at the time of Qualifying Gift Fulfilment. Policies will not be current where they (a) have been cancelled, (b) become void or (c) where AMI has received notice to cancel the relevant policy.
  7. Multiples of the same type of Qualifying Policy (e.g. two (2) new car policies) will qualify for this Promotion.
  8. This Promotion does not apply to the purchase of AMI travel, caravan, boat, jet ski, trailer, farm, travel, business or life policies.
  9. To participate in the Promotion, the Qualifying Person must ensure:
    1. The address (either the postal or risk address) on the Qualifying Policies matches the address specified on a Direct Mail; and
    2. The surname on the two (2) Qualifying Policies matches the surname provided by the Qualifying Person on the Promotion website ami.co.nz/welcomegift
  10. Qualifying Policies that are taken out during the Promotion Period will be eligible to participate in the Promotion if the start date on the policy is outside of the Promotion Period.
  11. Renewals, replacements, mid-term adjustments or reinstatements of existing AMI policies (as determined in AMI’s sole discretion) do not qualify for this Promotion.
  12. Qualifying Persons will get one (1) Qualifying Gift only
  13. Each Qualifying Person is entitled to receive their choice of one (1) of the following gifts (subject to availability, while stocks last):
    1. $150 Prezzy card;
    2. Tom Tom GPS sports watch (model IRS.001.00);
    3. Sunbeam Soup & Smoothie Maker (model PB8100);
    4. ‘Blueberry Blue’ De’Longhi Nespresso Innissia & Aeroccino3 Milk Frother (model EN80BLAE); or
    5. Panasonic DIY Wireless Home Monitoring Indoor Camera Kit (KX-HN6001AZW), (“Qualifying Gifts”)
  14. Any Qualifying Person who purchases more than two (2) Qualifying Policies shall not be eligible to receive more than one (1) Qualifying Gift.
  15. If any of the Qualifying Gifts becomes unavailable due to depleted stock levels, a message will be displayed on the redemption website ami.co.nz/welcomegift advising that the particular Qualifying Gift is no longer available. In this event Qualifying Persons will be prompted to choose a different Qualifying Gift.
  16. How you get a welcome gift if you qualify

  17. Subject to Qualifying for the Promotion (clause 6), AMI will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Qualifying Gift in 90 days, however Qualifying Gift(s) may be sent later than this date.
  18. AMI will not be required to send the Qualifying Gift before 90 days from the date of Qualifying for the Promotion (clause 6).
  19. The Qualifying Gift will be couriered to the address the Qualifying Person nominates on the redemption website ami.co.nz/welcomegift
  20. The Qualifying Gift will be delivered at no cost to the Qualifying Person.
  21. AMI will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Qualifying Gift, or if the Qualifying Gift is lost or goes missing after the Qualifying Gift is despatched for delivery to the Qualifying Person.
  22. Events affecting the delivery of and entitlement to Qualifying Gifts

  23. AMI will not be required to send any Qualifying Gifts when, in AMI’s sole discretion that person is not or is no longer a Qualifying Person.
  24. Any delays in delivery of the Qualifying Gift are not the responsibility of AMI.
  25. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other AMI offer or Promotion.
  26. General

  27. Qualifying Gifts are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  28. In the event that any Qualifying Gift becomes unavailable for reasons beyond AMI’s control, AMI may substitute a gift of similar or equal value.
  29. AMI, at its sole discretion, may extend this Promotion for a longer period than the Promotion Period. AMI also reserves the right to withdraw this Promotion, at any time without notice to any person, for any reason.
  30. AMI’s decision on any matter regarding this Promotion will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  31. Standard AMI policy criteria, terms and conditions apply.
  32. AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion.
  33. Promotion

  34. Information collected from all entries will be securely held by AMI. AMI may contact you using the contact details provided in you entries for the purpose of this Promotion generally and for marketing, promotional, and insurance related purposes. AMI may disclose your personal information to its suppliers, contractors and agents in the course of conducting this promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. All entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting AMI.
  35. Subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
    1. Warranties and technical queries are the responsibility of Noel Leeming and not AMI;
    2. AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or in relation to any of the Qualifying Gifts.
