AMI Play it Forward 2017 Promotion

Terms and Conditions

  1. This “AMI Play It Forward 2017” promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“AMI”), 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010.
  2. Information on how to enter and Tickets form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
  3. The Promotion is open to AMI Insurance customers who:
    1. are resident of New Zealand;
    2. hold a valid AMI car, house or contents insurance policy; and
    3. have a registered email address with AMI and received the Play it Forward 2017 email to this email address,
    (“Eligible Customer”).
  4. This Promotion commences on Monday 7 August 2017 and closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 17 August 2017 (“Promotion Period”).
  5. AMI is offering:
    1. The chance for each Eligible Customer to win two stand tickets to one of the following Mitre 10 Cup matches at AMI Stadium:
      1. Canterbury v Otago - Sunday 27 August 4:35pm
      2. Canterbury v Southland - Friday 8 September 5:45pm
      3. Canterbury v Counties - Manukau - Wednesday 13 September 7:35pm
      4. Canterbury v Waikato - Saturday 30 September 7:35pm
      5. Canterbury v Taranaki - Friday 6 October 7:35pm
      Collectively (“the Events”); and
    2. The opportunity for each Eligible Customer to nominate a local community group to also receive an allocation of tickets to any one of the Events.
  6. There are a total of six thousand, two hundred and fifty (6,250) tickets (“Tickets”) available for the Promotion.
  7. To enter, Eligible Customers must correctly complete and submit an online entry form at the AMI Mitre 10 Cup rugby match ticket entry page during the Promotion Period, which includes ranking the Events in order of preference.
  8. There is a limit of one entry for each Eligible Customer.
  9. The Tickets will be randomly allocated to Eligible Customers on Tuesday 22 August 2017 (or such later date as required by AMI) (“Ticket Draw”). The number of entries may exceed the number of Tickets available and therefore it is possible that not all Eligible Customers will receive Tickets.
  10. Winning entries will be allocated tickets to one (1) of the Events. This allocation will endeavour to assign Tickets on the basis of each winner’s preferred ranking as selected on the AMI Mitre 10 Cup rugby match ticket entry page. If a winning entrant’s first match selection is unavailable then they will be allocated their second, third, fourth or fifth choice depending on availability.
  11. Tickets are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. AMI’s decision on any matter regarding this Promotion, the Tickets and/or the Ticket allocation is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. To be allowed access to the Event, winners will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Tickets issued on behalf of Canterbury Rugby.
  13. AMI reserves the right to terminate or amend any aspect of this Promotion without notice at any time.
  14. AMI will pass on the email addresses of the Ticket winners to TicketDirect for the purposes of administering the Tickets. TicketDirect will make all reasonable attempts to contact each Ticket winner.
  15. If a Ticket winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours of the date of the Ticket Draw, AMI may reallocate those Tickets to any remaining eligible entries in the Ticket Draw or to a nominated charity.
  16. Tickets will be emailed to Ticket winners before the date of the Event that they are attending.
  17. Information collected from all entries will be held by AMI and by Ubiquity at its offices at Level 1, 361 New North Road, Kingsland, Auckland 1021. AMI and TicketDirect may contact entrants for the purposes of the Promotion using the contact details provided in their entries. All entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting AMI in writing at the address in clause 1 above.
  18. AMI may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors, partners, and agents in the course of conducting this Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating in the Promotion, entrants grant AMI exclusive permission to use their names, contact details, photographs and videos for AMI external and internal marketing, competition, communication and publicity purposes and entrants waive any claims to royalties, rights or remuneration for such use.
  19. AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Ticket, and will not be responsible for any lost or stolen Ticket.
  20. AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission or any other interruption or failure to any computer or telecommunications network services that may affect the conduct of this Promotion or a random allocation of Tickets.
