A kinder approach to child car seats
While there are no national standards for when child car seats should be replaced in the event of an accident, AMI’s taking action because it’s the right thing to do. In the event of a car claim, we’re replacing all child car seats that are no longer safe for use with a brand-new seat, improving the safety standards for our most precious passengers. The replaced car seats will be recycled, ensuring that damaged items are not re-used. With our car insurance, you’re also covered for the loss of child car seats if your car is stolen or if they’re stolen from your car.*
Making it easier to do the sums
Being underinsured can be a big deal if you have a major event and your cover doesn’t quite cover you. That’s why we’ve partnered with SeniorNet to help older New Zealanders build their online confidence, including managing their insurance.
