Supporting our Tamariki
Donations of new pyjamas, bibs, underwear, socks and other children’s essentials can be dropped off at AMI Masterton or Upper Hutt until the end of August in support of children’s charity Foster Hope.
The group provides practical support across Aotearoa to whanau and caregivers who take in foster children, who often start with nothing but a small bag of belongings. Donations dropped off at AMI Masterton will go towards creating care packages filled with essentials for children of all ages.
It is essential any items donated are new. AMI Masterton’s Julie McGhie says the team is proud to support the donation drive. “Our team is inspired by the work Foster Hope does for our tamariki across the country. It’s a really great opportunity to support a worthy cause,” she says.
AMI Masterton is located at 148 Queen Street, Masterton and AMI Upper Hutt is located at 109 Main Street, Upper Hutt. For more information, call store manager Julie McGhie on 06 377 5808/04 832 2043 or visit the Foster Hope website.
