Terms and Conditions

  1. This AMI Travel email promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by AMI, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland (“AMI”).
  2. Information on the Prize and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  3. Entry is open to AMI customers who are residents of New Zealand and who are 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of AMI and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  4. This promotion commences at 9.00am on 10 August 2016 and closes at 11.59pm on 30 September 2016 (“Promotion Period”).
  5. To enter the Promotion entrants must receive the AMI Travel email and buy an AMI Travel policy during the Promotion Period after receiving the AMI Travel email sent on 10 August 2016.
  6. There is a limit of one entry per person.
  7. The Prize draw will take place on 4 October 2016. The first three (3) valid entries drawn will receive the Prize.
  8. The prize (“Prize”) is one (1) of three (3) $500 gift cards at Flight Centre.
  9. The Prize will be valid for use as per the terms and conditions of the issuer. Full terms and conditions of use of the gift card can be found at flightcentre.co.nz.
  10. The Prize is the sole responsibility of the Prize winners.
  11. The Prize winners will be notified by AMI by phone or email no later than 10 October 2016.
  12. If a Prize winner cannot be contacted within three (3) working days of the date of the Prize draw, AMI may redraw the Prize from all remaining eligible entries.
  13. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. AMI’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. In the event that the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond AMI’s control, AMI may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  15. The Prize will be couriered to the Prize winners within seven (7) working days after notification of their win. AMI will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Prize, or if the Prize is lost or goes missing, after the Prize is dispatched for delivery to the Prize winner.
  16. Each Prize winner agrees that AMI is entitled to use their name, contact details and photographs for AMI external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
  17. AMI reserves the right to terminate or amend any aspect of this Promotion without notice at any time.
  18. AMI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly, out of, or in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.
  19. AMI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion or the Prize draw.
  20. Information collected from all entries will be securely held by AMI. AMI may contact any or all entrants using the contact details provided in their entries for the purpose of the Promotion generally and for marketing and promotional purposes. AMI may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents in the course of conducting this promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. All entrants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 by contacting the AMI Privacy Officer All entries become the property of AMI and will be destroyed by AMI following the conclusion of this Promotion.
